ENAAK offers four webinars in 2024. The webinars will address different themes that are recurrent and familiar to art societies/kunstvereine in Germany, Finland, Sweden and Norway. The ENAAK members will be hosting one webinar each.

All members of an art society/kunstvereine are welcome to join us for the webinars, and board members and employees especially.

The webinars are always on a Tuesday at 16:00 (CET) and English is the common language.

Host: The Swedish Association of Art Societies

How to create a contemporary art scene in rural areas

For the art scene in rural Sweden, the art societies are very important. It is thanks to them that there is a contemporary art scene. In this webinar we will listen to examples of how to build such a business in a place with long distances and few inhabitants.

How can membership figures be increased in times of crisis?

Rebekka Seubert is the director of the Dortmunder Kunstverein, which was recently awarded the prize for art associations. She reports on her diverse activities, which have made the Kunstverein known beyond the city limits.

NOVEMBER 19

Host: The Norwegian Association of Art Societies 

Youth Participation in the Art Societies

Hilde Marie Pedersen is Head of education at Bergen Kunsthall. She holds a Master’s degree in art history from the University of Bergen (thesis: From Place to Place. Land Art in Norway – Fragments of a Story’, 2004). Since 2007 she has been the head of Bergen Kunsthall’s learning and engagement team. She is also responsible for and teach art theory at Kunstskolen i Bergen (The Art School in Bergen).
